In February 2017, Extron offered a giveaway promotion to trade show attendees at the GEAPS Exchange. We are pleased to announce that Mid Kansas Coop (MKC) won the promotional drawing and has been awarded a new Extron Grain Management system. Mid Kansas Coop was founded in 1965 and is a full-service farm cooperative offering a complete line of supplies and services for both farm and urban customers in 15 counties throughout Kansas. Senior Location Managers, Jeff Jones and Jonathan Reazin accepted the system from Extron Sales Manager, Steve Hansen at the MKC’s Walton, Kansas location.
MKC received six wireless temperature cables and an Extron Gateway system. The wireless cables will allow them to accurately and reliably monitor temperatures in their grain bunkers. Extron’s Gateway will provide advanced reporting and analytics that can send mobile alerts and email updates allowing MKC personnel the ability to effectively monitor, control and protect their valuable facility, equipment and commodities.
Extron offers solutions to safeguard grain storage facilities by remotely monitoring and protecting them from temperature fluctuations and other hazards that can cause grain spoilage and equipment malfunction. Extron’s Hazard Monitoring, Ground Pile Management, and Wireless Grain Management systems can detect issues before they become a problem. Please contact an experienced Extron Account Representative to learn more about how an Extron system can enhance your operations.
